Three things happen, and they are kept separate.

There is nothing to install and no new app to learn. Onkare.ai reaches you on WhatsApp, where you already are. You send a voice note when it suits you. Walking, sitting down at the end of the day, or in any quiet moment. And you talk the way you would to anyone. Type instead if you prefer. Send a photograph, a letter, or a picture of something that matters, and talk from there.

On the other side is an AI agent that listens and remembers everything you have ever told it.

The conversation is guided rather than open-ended. The agent works from a brief you set with us at the outset, and within it decides what to ask, follows what you actually say, and presses where there is reasoning to be found. It draws out what you chose, why, what you gave up in choosing it, and what would have changed your mind. Where you are simply recording something, it takes that and stops. Depth is offered, never demanded.

There is no schedule to keep. You can stop mid-thought and pick it up days later.

Every so often it returns to something you said a year or two earlier and asks whether you still hold it. Your answer is recorded either way. That is the part no written record can do.

Each conversation is resolved into structured entries: a position, the reasoning that supports it, the trade-off you accepted, and the date you said it. Every entry is traceable to the exchange that produced it, so anyone reading it later can see not just what you concluded but how you got there.

Nothing is overwritten. When a position changes, the earlier one remains, and the movement between them becomes part of the record.

The record is held in an open, documented format, and it is built so that it can be handed over in full and read without us.

Your record is not used to train anything, and it is not analysed alongside anyone else's. Per member isolation of the underlying storage is part of the target architecture and is not yet in place.

The conversational layer and the record are deliberately separate. The record is the asset and it stays in your environment. The model that talks to you is an interface over it. Replaceable, and designed from the outset to be replaced.

The intended destination is dedicated open-weight models, hosted within each member's own environment, so that no part of the service depends on a commercial provider's endpoint, terms, or continued existence. That is the target architecture, not today's. Members are told plainly which components are in place for them and which are on the path.

The service works by confirmation. Nothing enters the record as your position unless you have confirmed that it is. That has a consequence which matters more than anything else on this page.

When you are gone, no confirmation is possible, and so nothing further can enter the record as yours. Access for those who come after is designed to be granted by you, and the means of granting it is still being built. What is already settled is the constraint: whoever reads it cannot extend it, edit it, or arrive at answers you never gave.

Nobody can quietly make you more agreeable over three generations. That is not a policy we promise to keep. It is a property of how the thing is built.

Onkare.ai is in beta. Use of the system is by invitation, to a controlled group, at this stage. The founder is one of them.

Working now: the WhatsApp conversation, voice and text and images, the structured record with dated positions and reasoning, and the confirmation step that governs what enters it.

In development: the document that returns your own record to you, the means by which you grant access to someone else, and per member isolation of the underlying storage.

Target architecture: dedicated open-weight models hosted in each member's own environment, and a full export readable without us.

We would rather tell you which of these is which than let you assume.

Before anything is captured, we spend time on who this record is for and what you would want it to hold. Not to categorise you. People record across every part of their life, and the connections between those parts are much of what makes the record worth having.

From there it is yours. There is no minimum, no schedule, and nothing to keep up with.
